What happens to your submittal

We suggest that you go through your submittals and select just the best.  If we get overloaded with submittals, or if your submittals all look the same, we may have to edit out.  Sending only your best effort is more likely to assure that your preferred choice is loaded.

The Fine Print

We know that this Celebration will be entered into by the majority of fans of Golden Gate Park with enthusiasm, joy, and good sense.  However, to address possible problems, we have had to add a few more statements:

These guidelines are final on all matters relating to the Celebration.   By submitting entries, all entrants agree to be bound by them.

GGPPA can change the Guidelines, the Celebration format, or even withdraw the Celebration, at any time.

To the extent permitted by law, you are releasing any of us here at GGPPA from any liability, loss, damage, costs, suits, demands/judgments claims, expenses whatsoever associated with your taking part in and submitting entries to this Celebration or violating the rights of another individual or entity.

We may miss your entry or fail to load it or load it upside down or crop it wrong or the website could freeze up or the ISP could go out of business - the possibilities are endless.  Let us know if you see a problem, and we will try to correct it.  But we're not going to promise that we can.  Be generous - we are all volunteers here.

Be responsible.  For example, don't take any physical risks or damage property trying to get photos.  Don't upset anyone so much that they decide to sue you and us!  Be safe, especially around any of the destruction and construction that will be going on at the jobsite.

Should any of these rules be unenforceable, the rules that are consistent with applicable law and the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.

Remember - this is a Celebration of the Beauty of the Park and Ocean Beach.

Thank you!
